Massage Therapy

In massage therapy, a registered massage therapist uses their hands to manipulate soft tissues of the body. This includes muscles, tendons, fascia, connective tissue, and skin to promote healing, relaxation, and relieve pain.

The most common types of massage are Swedish or deep tissue massage. Additionally, other tools may be used to enhance the treatment effect.

Primitive Reflexes

In addition to traditional massage, Paige assesses and treats retained primitive reflexes. These are the reflexes that we are born with, but disappear in the first few years in life as we hit developmental milestones, such as head control, crawling etc.

However, if we're not hitting these milestones, these reflexes can be retained which can potentially lead to developmental delays.

TMJ Pain

Paige has a special interest in using massage techniques to treat temporomandibular joint (jaw) pain.
